The house

Built into Cold Spring's historic streetscape, the house pairs original details — exposed brick, wide-board floors, deep window sills — with a full renovation underneath: a farmhouse kitchen with soapstone counters, updated baths, and air conditioning throughout.

Out back: a landscaped garden with lavender and cherry trees, a stone-ringed fire pit, a hot tub, and a table for dining in the shade of large old trees, the Hudson Highlands rising behind. The private driveway holds three cars and an EV charger.

An hour from Manhattan, a world apart

Cold Spring's Main Street runs downhill toward the Hudson, lined with antique shops, restaurants, and a small-town train station with a direct line to Grand Central. Six Church Street sits two blocks off Main, inside the village's historic district.

Dockside Park and the river are a five-minute walk in one direction; the Breakneck Ridge and Mount Taurus trailheads are a few minutes' drive in the other.
